I was really hoping the sun would eventually come out to change up my light. But the overcast did allow for some interesting soft light. I found out that they start picking early in the morning in the dark. It might be kind of interesting to revisit this with a off-camera flash. They might kill me though.

Your series here has a Grapes of Wrath feel about it. Quiet, hard working, wary. But you can tell they have accepted you. The expressions are very beautiful and candid, souls showing, and you might feel honored to have been among them as I feel in viewing these.
